EDUCATION STRATEGY

Since the publication of the Lancet series, the profile of midwives has been raised with the recognition of the importance of midwives during pregnancy and birth. Globally there is an increased focus on midwifery education, with the aim to support improvements to maternity care. The purpose of this box set is to present the changes to education strategy that is taking place from a global perspective, as well as the changes for the future midwife in the United Kingdom, and strategies for improving the student practice experience.
