THE HIGHLIGHTS: Wellbeing Matters podcast

MATFLIX is proud to be supporting the Maternity and Midwifery Hour, a new programme, and podcast of the same name, hosted by our partners at Maternity & Midwifery Forum. The aim is for each episode to focus on a different component of the COVID-19 crisis and how it is affective the maternity and midwifery sector.

The first instalment kicked off with "Wellbeing Matters" and included three wonderful guests: Sue Macdonald, Co-editor of Mayes Midwifery; Jenny Clarke – aka Jenny the Midwife; and Dr Sheena Byrom OBE, Director, All4Maternity.

Watch their highlights now:

Sue Macdonald: “It's still the year of the Nurse & Midwife and we should still celebrate”

Jenny Clarke: ”Self care is reclaiming that part of yourself which might be lost in your working day".

Sheena Byrom: “Maybe this is the time to reset?”

The next episode is about “Students Stepping Up” with Sue Macdonald, Co-editor of Mayes Midwifery; - Dr Anna Byrom, Senior Midwifery Lecturer, University of Central Lancashire (UCLan); and Alicia Shirley Burnett, 3rd Year BSc Midwifery Student, University of West London. Register now.
